It happened, I got married, and it really was the best day of my life! It was amazing to have all our family and friends in one place, the best men made sure our friends who couldn’t come from Australia were there too via video message! From the start of the day when I was getting ready to the very end, I don’t think I stopped smiling!
But of course, where there’s a wedding there are nails to prettified!
The Wednesday before the big day I did a big nail night at my cousin’s house, there were two cousins, my aunty, my sister in law, my mum and my cousin’s gorgeous daughter Sylvie who was our flower girl. It was not only a super fun evening, but it was Sylvie’s first ever ‘mani’ (she’s only 6!) I let her choose a glitter which I sprinkled onto a clear polish, she was so happy! Her little brother wanted in on the action too, (he is nearly 4) so I sprinkled some black glitter onto a top coat for him, he said it was too itchy, and we took it off, bless him!
The family all went for nails to compliment their outfits, so I did an assortment of colours and patterns, my favourite of the evening was my aunty who had pale pink and bright pink ombre!
I did my nails with Gelish ‘Pink Smoothie’ and my super sparkly nude glitter. My toes were my something blue, I went with Gelish ‘My Sugar Baby’ – which is a bright blue and used a bluey green glitter.
We just got back from our Honeymoon last week, which I’ll tell you all about in my next blog post!
