I think I can count on one hand how many days it hasn’t rained this year!!! But we finally had a blue sky last week and it got me (and everyone I know) excited for what’s to come. I can’t wait to get all the pastel colours out and start creating some pretty spring nail art.

I recently saw my fab client Mags for her nails ahead of her gorgeous boy’s christening. She ALWAYS sends me her inspo, and for that I am very grateful. As a mobile nail technician in London, I do carry all my colours with me, but sometimes someone will ask for a chrome or glitter and I know it’s sitting at home, which is so annoying for everyone!

For this set, she went for abstract and leopard print. I feel like it’s been a while since I’ve done leopard print nails and I absolutely love it, it works so well and looks amazing in all different colours too, perfect for spring nails if you want something a bit different.

Another lovely spring set I created while the sun was shining was BIAB ‘Slushy’ with a pearl chrome finish. So annoying that the photo really doesn’t do it justice because it was SO nice! BIAB nails are perfect if you’re looking to grow your natural nails while still having a fresh, glossy spring look.

I’m also so excited to FINALLY be doing my e-file training. I’ve been talking about wanting to do it for ages and the time has finally come, well, in a few weeks! I’m really looking forward to levelling up and learning a new skill.

I know a few of my clients are a bit scared of the nail drill (I won’t be calling it a drill ever again, but now you know what I mean), but when used correctly it’s an amazing tool and does not damage the nails at all. Don’t worry if you’re a client of mine and don’t want me to use it, that’s absolutely fine… unless you’re my mum. Sorry mum, you know you’re my guinea pig for new nail things!
