As a mobile manicure tech in London, I’m always on the lookout for the best products to bring to my clients — long-lasting gels, beautiful colours, strong BIAB, and brands I trust. The GelBottle has been one of my go-to brands for YEARS, not just because their gels last and the pigment is unreal, but because they’re innovators, their BIAB formulas are legendary, their customer service is amazing, and now I can confirm… they also know how to throw a party!
I recently attended the launch of their new Tinseltown collection, and it gave me so much inspiration for future gel manicures and BIAB appointments.
I won’t pretend I was invited — I spotted the event while scrolling Facebook, grabbed a ticket, messaged my nail bestie Janine, and as the dress code was glitz and glam, I immediately bought sequin trousers.
Heading to the Event
On Monday I got properly ready… eyeshadow, lipstick, the whole glam moment, balanced out by the sensible winter puffer jacket because… London rain.
Janine and I met at White City station and headed to White City House with zero idea what to expect. We even said that if it was boring we’d sneak off for dinner. Safe to say, dinner was absolutely taken care of.
We collected our lanyards, went up to the 8th floor, and were greeted with gin, picante or Prosecco. If you know me, you know I’m a picante girl. We arrived at 7pm and the room was already full of energy — the official “insiders” had been there since 6pm. I am an insider, but I’ve been terrible at tagging and hashtagging lately… something I’m fixing next year for sure!
The Food, Drinks and Glam Vibes
The space looked stunning. Canapés were floating around all night — smoked salmon blinis, tuna tartare, sausage rolls, spicy mushroom bites — all delicious. Then I spotted mini bowls of food, including fish and chips, turkey and stuffing, and what I think was risotto. Perfect for anyone arriving straight from a busy day of clients, like me.
This is one of the things I love sharing with my mobile manicure clients — being involved in events like this helps me keep up with colour trends, new launches and product quality so you get the best possible results at home or in your office across London.
The Entertainment and Nail Tech Community
The entertainment was live band karaoke. I didn’t brave the stage, but everyone who did was incredible and the atmosphere was amazing. There was even a poker table, which I avoided because I have absolutely no idea how to play.
I recognised so many talented London nail techs from Instagram. I chatted to a few familiar faces and made mental notes of others I want to be brave enough to talk to next time. Even as a busy mobile nail tech, I still get shy!
Goodie Bags, New Colours and Client Inspiration
As the event wrapped at 10pm and the band played Gangsta’s Paradise, we grabbed our coats and were handed the goodie bag of dreams. It included colours that were literally sitting in my online basket, which means my London clients are about to see some gorgeous new shades in their next gel manicure or BIAB appointment.
Everything about the night – the location, the atmosphere, the people, the food, the music – was brilliant. I left feeling excited, inspired, and full of new ideas for the mobile manicures I offer across London.
If you want BIAB nails, gel manicures or office appointments, you can book with me directly and I’ll bring salon-quality products (including The GelBottle!) straight to your home or workplace.
My favourite moments from the TGB event…
