A few weeks ago, my bestie came round for a mani. She’s a superstar boss babe who does luxury facials, and we’ve agreed to help each other out — she’s happy for me to do her nails however I want, make fun videos, and take loads of photos, and I’m more than happy for her to give me facials! (I definitely win in this collaboration!!)
I’ve posted the two parts on Instagram, but here’s a step-by-step of how I created her BIAB nails with an amazing amber cat eye finish.
When I was last at Bird & Bird, I saw the lovely Hannah — her nails were still perfect from the last time I was there! She went from a classic red to one of my favourite cat eye colours: a bluey-purple that kind of looks like an oil spill (in a good way!!). I’m not sure how long the cat eye/magnet trend will stick around, but I’m still really loving it!

Enough about cat eye nails, let’s move onto some nail art. I always love seeing my clients Leoanna and Sofie — they always come with the best ideas. Although, on our last meetup, Leoanna basically told me to do whatever I wanted… which led to white and silver tips for her, and pink with yellow stars for her sister! I always look forward to seeing them — we have such a good laugh!
