I’ve noticed, both when speaking to friends and clients, that fewer people are working from home full-time nowadays. In the past, more people would spend most of their time at their desks in a home office or bedroom, rather than in the workplace. Now, it seems there’s been a real shift, with people spending more time in the office. One of my friends mentioned she prefers this because it allows for impromptu face-to-face meetings. She also said that when she does work from home and has to join Zoom calls, she hates it!

What else makes going into the office better? I might be biased, but getting your nails done during a break certainly helps! That, and having a delicious lunch from one of the many places to choose from in town. Can you tell I don’t get out as much now that I have two little ones?!

The most recent office I’ve been in is Bird and Bird. I was coming here before 2020, but I stopped coming when I was on maternity leave with Charlie, then there was a pandemic, and then I had Lois! So it was lovely when they reached out to me last month to be part of their wellness day. They liked it so much, I’ll be going back every month again now! It’s so nice catching up with all my regulars there, and hearing all about all the weddings and babies that have happened since seeing them last.

Natalie is fully qualified with 10 years of experience under her belt and even offers little discounts for parties & larger groups if you speak to her nicely. She’s the life and soul of any hen party, loves anything remotely sparkly and is an avid festival goer (ask about her special ‘festival nail’ designs).
