Since having Lois I’m tied to working evenings and the odd days in the office thanks to hubby and my mum taking days off work to help! I don’t often work weekends, but when I do they tend to be big party bookings like hens, kids’ parties and wedding nails. And the last few weeks it’s been party, party, party!

A few weeks ago I was booked by Miah to go to her house in St Johns Wood to do manicures for her friends for her party, they had food and the drinks flowing and I had a cute little set up doing gel manicures, my faves being the cute green and pink hearts for Valentine’s Day.
I totally lost count of how many people I saw, but I got there at 12pm and left at 7pm!

Two weeks ago I was booked for Islas 12th birthday party at her house in Cricklewood, it was a ‘spa’ party and when the girls turned up they were given a party bag with personalised slippers, a headband and other cute bits. I found out later in the day it was also a ‘bring a tray party’ and Isla had given her friends a colour and they each had to bring a tray of food in that colour, needless to say there were a lot of sweets and some very hyper 12-year-olds!!! I was asked to do mini manicures and I said I could do some simple nail art. I was shown a lot of ideas from Pinterest, and I can tell you 12-year-old girls know exactly what they want. They were all so lovely and when I finished they were all hanging out watching a movie and doing each other’s hair and make-up and doing Tik-Tok dances!!

Last week Janine booked me to do a job with her in Dulwich, there were 6 friends who all grew up in Dubai and went to primary school together and have kept in touch this whole time. Janine was doing massage and facials and I was doing manicures, pedicures and nail art. They were such a lovely group and although they don’t live close by (one of the ladies lives in Scotland, and one in Portugal) they had the most amazing friendship bond!
